Dal, who lives way out in the valley on a rancho, rode his bike into town several times a day during the aftermath of the storm, for supplies and a cerveza or two at Scotty's El Candil.
Our huge garage doors blew off during the storm. It was amazing to watch our helpers set them back after repairing the twisted hinges.
Bart had Junga's bar open in quick order, and Gene managed to get a haircut there one afternoon.
Omar is the main bartender at Scotty's, and by now pretty much knows what we want when we walk in. Really nice guy.
John Macy and buddy Bob can be seen there at Scotty's from time to time. John has a house on the other side of the river. It is located very high on a hill and he was able to watch the storm in safety. The views from his house are spectacular.
