More shots of our new guest room in the process. Had a surprise when the old storage area roof came off. All the rafters were termite ridden. The new steel roof will be finished today, a much better and secure roof indeed, but this has added quite a bit of expense to our project, and a delay of about ten days in completion. I cannot even imagine the cost of this in the US. Our workers are here six days a week, they are efficient, and they are wonderfully talented. It is a bit of a trial with the welding, hammering, the concrete mixer, but I mentioned to Mike the other day that I am getting used to it to the point where I only notice the silence after they leave in the afternoon.
