Check out this well-fed quail daddy. This guy was perched on our deck upstairs. This is the first time I have ever seen a quail that far off the ground, but then...what do I know? On the other side of the house some twenty baby quail scattered lickety split when I opened the front door. Mike is very fond of all our visiting feathered friends, and puts out suet and seeds blocks for them consistently. They know they are all welcome in our yard.
